If you liked Twilight etc... then I think you would like this book to. It is a psycological thriller. Easy to read, can't put down, page turner. If you didn't read Twilight because you thought it sounded weird, then read this one.

Junior that I Love

I think I will use this picture someday to torture Junior. You know, I will show it to all of his friends and tell them how he used to like to play with Pinkie's Barbies.

But this one will make me cry, and I will miss my gushie little boy with the cheesy smile and the sparkley blue eyes.

Here Comes the Sun.

Just a heads up to any of you who don't read my other blog. Tomorrow I am having a celebration and a giveaway there. Quilters will want to check it out.

Artist's Point

All of these shots were taken at Artist's Point, one of my favorite spots. Kudos to he-who-must-not-be-named for the suberb camera work.

Junior is always good for a "cheeeeeese."

These two are at that goofy picture taking stage, but this one turned out precious I believe.

I always have nightmares the night preceeding waterfall trips. You know, the kind where your kids fall in. It is really not that scary in person.

Cozy Cabin

Here's the cute cabin we stayed at last weekend. It was the perfect size, and very clean. I spent most of my cabin time following Junior up and down the log stairs. They must not have up to date codes in this city, because the railings were way too open for my liking. Anyways, I love this picture with Kirt trying to get out of the way.

Honestly, it must be impossible to get everyone looking let alone smiling.

If Junior wasn't climing the stairs, he planted it right in this leather chair. He even kicked adults out of it. This is the zombie face he gets when he watches his favorite movie, "The Incredibles."

A relaxing Newberry awarded book. I love picking these Newberry books at the library because they never seem to dissappoint. This story is about a 12 year old girl and her summer on the ocean.

Big Springs

These photos are from Big Springs. The water here was crystal clear and beautiful. I loved this little muskrat that would swim just below us and wait for any goodies we might drop. While getting out my camera to take his picture, I knocked my camera case off the bridge railing and hit him in the head. Pinkie was quite distraught about me losing the case. She even cried and came up with solutions for how to get it out (this was a day later.) In the end she decided that I should by a new one, and this time I should look for a pink one.

We didn't get a chance to hike back to this little cabin, but isn't it quaint? It reminds me of Switzerland, not that I have ever been there.

Mesa Falls

We spent a few days last week with he-who-must-not-be-named's family at Island Park, Idaho. The first day we were there we visited this nearby waterfall named Mesa Falls. I love how the water cascades off the edge of this table top falls.

The kids seem to have fun wherever they are. They love spending time with their cousins.

Sleepover

I got a surprise visit from my mom and sister last Monday. It was to deliver quilts of course. Since I was planning on a trip to my mom's a few days later, Monkey #2 got to sleep over. He is Pinkie's favorite you know, although I think she may be over the marrying him thing. My kids had so much fun! The three of them slept on a matress on the floor of my kids' room. No chance that Junior was going to sleep in his own bed!

Honestly, having him here was almost like a built in baby sitter. My kids were so entertained that I managed to get four quilts done in just over 24 hours. Monkey #2, you are welcome back anytime!
