Ballet

Earlier this summer, Pinkie attended a Ballet Camp. She l.o.v.e.d. it. We can't wait for lessons to start in the fall.

Ever since then, there has been a lot of beautiful dancing going on around our house.

On Saturday, we made this froofy tutus. They are easy and fun. Read more here, at Lovely Rita.

Getting Along

This weekend I learned that these two can get along wonderfully . . . when they are eating.

Lost Tooth

In case you didn't notice the lost tooth in the Radishes post, here it is. I love those toothless grins I am getting lately. She has several more loose teeth, so I will have to keep you updated with smiles.

Baseball

We have spent a good chunk of our summer so far playing baseball in the backyard. Junior insists on being pitched to frequently. I am hoping that baseball tee Santa brought him for Christmas might get used someday.
Occasionaly he insists that husband or I get to be the batter, and he the pitcher. You only get one hit, and then he is the batter again.
After he hits the ball, he runs the "basement."

Oquirrh Mountain Utah Temple

Yesterday we went with husband's family to the temple open house. It was gorgeous. I am a sucker for great design and architecture. The tour runs through August 1st, so if you haven't gone, get your reservations online at lds.org. And don't miss the photo of Christ on the top floor and how it reflects into each circle of glass in the doorway...
Here we all are.

Pedal, pedal, pedal.

Thanks to Pinkie's friend T, her training wheels came off last month and she can now ride a two wheeler with out any help. She also lost her first tooth last month. These incidents however, were unrelated.

Oops

I am not sure how in the world I missed this photo in my Smile if You Like Camping Post. I also managed to take a million photos, but none with Monkey #2 in it. Sheesh.

S is for

Sleep. Last week I took some photos with the kids, and some friends. We are hoping to make an alphabet book with them. This one is my favorite.

Smile If You Like Camping

Her biggest smiles are when she is holding a dog.

Smiling, and probably up to no good.

Hands down the cutest smile of the bunch.

Canine smile.

Smiling because the dogs hadn't showed up yet, and because she liked the nature walk.

Has the world's most hilarious cheeser, which is impossible to catch on camera.

Says "cheese" in the most monotone voice imaginable, and does not change expression. Hilarious.
Good times were had at Grandpa's Mountain. Fourth of July Weekend 2009
