Would you believe we had to talk Pinkie into getting up. All of this after just the night before we had to convince her Santa was coming that very night, but the next night. Now that the big morning was here, she took some convincing. She said she wanted to stay in bed, crazy girl. She finally hopped up when I told her the cookies we left for Santa were gone. As you can see, Santa must have been very busy the few days before Christmas getting this castle done for Pinkie. Her only complaint is that she wants to paint it pink of course. Too bad that Santa thinks it would be better off gray so Junior can use it for a GI Joe fortress someday.
Junior was lucky enough to score this basketball hoop. Of course he needs a little lifting now, but we plan on having him be a 80 percent free throw shooter by March Madness time. He actually does try to make baskets from his sitting down position.
As for myself and he-who-must-not-be-named, we got new paint for the family room for Christmas. Thanks to the parents for agreeing to chip in, we spent the rest of the week remodeling. It was well worth it though. The house looks great. I will post more on that soon.

That castle is awesome!! That's funny she wants it pink. We missed out on the stress of rushing to visit family this year - my parents were out of town. We spent the entire day with just us, hanging out and playing with the kids' toys. It was kind of weird, but nice. I can't wait to see the pictures of your newly done family room. I love that stuff! Glad you had a good one - and we are excited you are planning on a spring trip to see us. Hopefully it works out!
grey for the GI Joes...thats hilarious.
